在1986年3月1日年开业于在樟宜路仅仅240平方米的育国中医诊疗所.
On 1st March of 1986, Physician Koh and Tang officially opened their clinic in a small 240 square metres space on the ground floor of Castle Court along Changi Road.
从初心到传承
Where Our Journey Began

1985年，许珍育医师远赴中国深造，首次接触到小儿推拿这门中医特色疗法。当时，小儿推拿无论在中国还是海外都尚未普及，但许医师敏锐地看见了这门疗法的巨大潜力，并立下志愿，将小儿推拿带回新加坡，推广发展，让更多儿童受惠。
1986年，许珍育医师与陈裕国医师怀着「以中医济世，造福人群」的共同信念，携手创立了育国中医。
创业初期，社会大众对小儿推拿认识有限，许多家长对其疗效抱持怀疑态度，不愿让孩子接受治疗。为了让更多人了解并亲身体验小儿推拿的价值，两位医师经常义务为儿童提供免费治疗，以实际疗效赢得家长的信任。
创业之路并不容易。两位医师不仅日复一日为病患诊治，更亲力亲为处理诊所大小事务，从接诊、配药到日常营运，无不尽心尽力，常常忙碌至深夜才结束一天的工作。正是凭着这份坚持、奉献与对中医事业的热忱，奠定了育国中医数十年来稳健发展的坚实基础。
In 1985, Physician Koh travelled to China to further her studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she was first introduced to TCM Child Tuina Massage. At the time, this specialised paediatric therapy was virtually unknown in Singapore. Although she was initially sceptical, she soon became convinced of its remarkable therapeutic potential and resolved to bring it back to Singapore so that more children could benefit from it.
In 1986, Physician Koh Tin Yock and Physician Tang Joo Kok founded their clinic with a shared vision: to alleviate suffering and improve lives through Traditional Chinese Medicine.
In those early years, Child Tuina Massage was largely unfamiliar to the local community. Many parents were uncertain about its effectiveness and were hesitant to let their children undergo treatment. Determined to raise awareness and earn the trust of the public, Physician Koh often provided Child Tuina treatments free of charge, allowing families to experience its benefits firsthand.
Building the clinic was no easy task. The husband-and-wife team devoted themselves wholeheartedly to every aspect of its operation. In addition to treating patients, they personally dispensed herbal medicine, managed the day-to-day running of the clinic, and even took care of the cleaning. Long days that stretched late into the night became the norm, but their dedication, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to serving the community laid the strong foundation for the clinic's continued growth and lasting legacy.

行医理念
Our Philosophy
许医师始终相信，治疗儿童应以温和、安全为原则，尽量减少不必要的药物使用。她认为，许多儿童常见疾病都可以通过小儿推拿进行调理，在需要时才配合药物治疗，让孩子少受打针吃药之苦。
从医数十年来，许医师以小儿推拿帮助了无数儿童恢复健康，陪伴许多家庭走过孩子成长中的健康挑战。
她至今仍记得一位患有严重便秘的孩子。当时，孩子因长期无法正常排便，每周都必须到医院接受通便治疗。许医师坚持每天为孩子进行小儿推拿调理，经过数周的悉心治疗，孩子的排便逐渐恢复正常，最终摆脱了长期便秘的困扰，重拾健康。这样的经历，更坚定了她推广小儿推拿、守护儿童健康的初心。

Physician Koh has always believed in treating children with the gentlest approach possible, avoiding the unnecessary use of medication. She believes that Child Tuina Massage is often sufficient to treat many common childhood conditions, with medication prescribed only when it is truly necessary.
Over the years, she has treated countless children through Child Tuina, helping them recover naturally while supporting their overall health and development.
One case that remains especially memorable involved a young child who suffered from severe constipation. The condition was so serious that the child had to visit the hospital every week to have his bowels cleared. Determined to help, Physician Koh provided Child Tuina treatment daily over the course of several weeks. Gradually, the child's bowel function returned to normal, and he made a full recovery. For Physician Koh, stories like these reaffirm the healing potential of Child Tuina and her lifelong commitment to caring for children with patience, compassion, and dedication.
当许医师专注于小儿推拿的发展与临床治疗时，陈医师则致力于钻研中医的各个领域，从中医内科、针灸、骨伤科、妇科，到中医药制造与医疗科技，不断探索中医发展的更多可能。
陈医师热爱创新，长期投入中医临床与科研工作，研发了多种中药处方及实用的治疗技术，并与中国发明家携手合作，参与设计及研制多项中医医疗设备，致力于提升临床疗效，造福更多患者。
陈医师始终坚信，无论是中医还是西医，治疗方法并无高低之分，最重要的是能够真正帮助患者解除病痛、恢复健康。对他而言，医学的价值不在于流派，而在于疗效；只要能够治病救人，就是值得学习、运用与传承的医学。
陈医师：
"为什么学医, 是一个难以回答的问题；一个比较单纯的想法，就是做一点好事，济世救人，给自己积一点德，不要浪费自已的生命，比较堂皇的说词是——为人民服务。但现实也不就是为了自己的肚子有饭吃。有了这么一个理想与目标就去干吧！成就就在这种思想的推动下形成的。"
While Physician Koh specialised in TCM paediatrics, Physician Tang dedicated himself to the full spectrum of Traditional Chinese Medicine. His expertise spans TCM internal medicine, acupuncture, traumatology, gynaecology, medical manufacturing, and healthcare technology.
Driven by a spirit of innovation, Physician Tang has developed numerous herbal prescriptions, refined treatment techniques, and designed advanced medical equipment to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions. His commitment to integrating traditional wisdom with modern innovation reflects his lifelong pursuit of providing effective, patient-centred care.
Physician Tang believes that every form of medicine and treatment has its value. As long as it is beneficial to the patient and can effectively treat the root cause of the condition, it is worth embracing.
Dr Tang:
"The question is: Why? Why do we study medicine? It's a deceptively simple question, isn't it? Perhaps not. I have my own answer, and it is simply this: because we want to do good.
As human beings, we know what it feels like to suffer, and we have the capacity to empathise. We do not want to waste our time on this earth. If you don't mind me sounding a little cliché, we study medicine because we want to serve mankind—not for ideology, dogma, political interests, or personal beliefs, but to help those who are suffering.
Of course, there is a practical reality. I need to earn a living and put food on the table. But I have been fortunate to find a profession that gives me both a livelihood and a sense of purpose. For me, medicine is more than a career—it is a meaningful way to serve others while making an honest living."

正如一棵大树需要日复一日的灌溉才能茁壮成长，夫妻俩也凭着坚定的信念与不懈的努力，一步一脚印地朝着梦想迈进。随着越来越多患者的信任与支持，诊所规模逐渐扩大，团队也不断壮大。
时至今日，育国中医诊疗所已拥有超过50位专业员工，每日服务逾200位患者，发展成为新加坡规模领先的私人中医诊疗机构之一。
四十年来，许医师与陈医师始终秉持着初心，以专业、创新与仁心服务社会，持续推动中医的发展，并致力于为更多患者提供优质的中医医疗服务，让传统中医在新时代焕发新的生命力。
Like a tree that flourishes through years of care and nurturing, Physician Koh and Physician Tang worked tirelessly each day to turn their vision into reality. Guided by dedication, perseverance, and a shared commitment to serving the community, they steadily grew the clinic from humble beginnings into a trusted name in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
As more patients experienced the benefits of their treatments, the clinic continued to expand, and so did its team. Today, Yu Guo Chinese Physician employs more than 50 dedicated staff members and cares for over 200 patients each day, making it one of the largest privately owned TCM clinics in Singapore.
Four decades on, Physician Koh and Physician Tang remain committed to the values that inspired them from the very beginning—compassion, innovation, and excellence in patient care. Their unwavering passion continues to drive the advancement of Traditional Chinese Medicine while helping generations of patients achieve better health and well-being.
